Change user password

This window allows Loan Performer administrator to change a given user's password when the need arises.

Please note that this window is different from the one that allows the user to change their passwords themselves under the menu System/Configuration/Change Password.

How to change a user password

If you need to change a user's password you go to System/Configuration/Users. A screen that looks like one below appear:

Click on the Change button. A pop up screen that looks as the one below will appear:

• User Name: Select from the drop down box the User Name whose password is to be changed, e.g, "Joan".
• Function: This read only text-box will be updated with the function of this user, e.g., "Teller".
• Enter New Password: Enter the new user password. The user will be able to change his/her password anytime under the menu System/Change user password. To know more about the qualities of a good password in Loan Performer, go to System/Configuration/Users/User General settings.
• Confirm your new password: Re-enter here the same password for confirmation.

Please note that in Loan Performer passwords are not case sensitive, which means you can enter a password with either capital or small letters ("Performer" is equal to "performer").

Click on the Save button to save the new password. The following confirmation message appears:

Click on the Close button to exit.
